Ther are two brand new names on the wall of fame of the Dolomites Vertical Kilometer, the first competition of the long skyrunning week end in Val di Fassa, with a new record for the female skyrunners. On the 10th anniversary of the competition, two of the athletes of La Sportiva Team have gained the thrones: the Italian Patrick Facchini and the French Axelle Mollaret, whose performance was even better than the 2014 record of Laura Orguè I Vila, stopping the time at 37’39”, 35 seconds faster than the Catalan female athlete. For what the absolute winner concerns, Facchini, her ascent to the track -with its 1015 altitude drop- took 32’43”, 1 minute and 9 second more than the time of Götsch, registered one year ago.
